English: Long Ditton is one of three Surrey villages to have a small part in the present definition of London and as a ward is wholly in Surrey. Long Ditton is split between the post towns Surbiton and Thames Ditton however in terms of economy and convenience, its streets are closest to the high streets and railway stations of Hinchley Wood and Surbiton
