Na početku svoje karijere Mario je htio nositi broj 99 u čast svog velikog idola Waynea Gretzkog, ali mu je menedžer savjetovao da to ne učini jer bi ga mogli mediji zbog toga uzeti na zub, pa mu je predložio broj 66, koji je u biti broj 99 okrenut naopako. Latviešu: Mario Lemjē (Mario Lemieux, dzimis 1965. gada 5. oktobrī, Monreālā, Kanādā) ir kanādiešu bijušais hokejists - uzbrucējs. 17 sezonas viņš aizvadīja NHL klubā Pitsburgas "Penguins" divreiz (1991. un 1992. gadā) izcīnījis Stenlija kausu. Pirms spēlēšanas NHL viņš 3 sezonas aizvadīja QMJHL līgas klubā Lavalas "Voisins".
