English: Marlborough was an iron-hulled three-masted full-rigged ship, built by Robert Duncan & Co Port Glasgow (Yard No 101) for P Henderson & Co, Glasgow. Dimensions: length × beam × depth: 228 × 35 × 21.6 ft (69.4 × 10.6 × 6.5 m). Tonnages 1,191 GRT and 1,124 NRT. Built as a general cargo ship, later converted for refrigerated cargo. Went missing at sea in 1890.[1]
