Roman milestone discovered in Maussane-les-Alpilles, in an olive grove (olivette) of the Mas de Chabran; it bears the number XI, and therefore signalizes the eleventh Roman mile (about 16,5 kilometers) from the passage of the Rhone at Tarascon to Rome via Ernaginum (Saint-Gabriel) and Aix; it is therefore a little less than a kilometer and a half from the en:Paradou's milestone. It is known today only by its replica located at the eastern entrance of the Espace Agora Alpilles of Maussane, the original (according to sources a little old) would sleep in the reserves of the Museum of Mediterranean archeology of Marseille.
