English: The Mayfair Hotel was built on King Street in 1905 by Edward Lippert. It housed a furniture store until 1976, and a three-storey extension built in 1929 was used for the Windsor House Hotel. Various owners operated the hotel after 1976 until its sale to the municipal government in 2000, which used it as low-income housing for men until 2007. It was demolished in May 2015.
