Die 5 skagte of myne is Artonvilla, Spence, Messina, Harper en Western Campbell, elkeen effens verskillend wat plaaslike geologie en mineralisasie betref. Die skagte is geleë op of langs antieke delwerye, op ertsliggame wat konsentriese afsettings van kopersulfied, nl. chalcopiriet, borniet en chalcosiet, bevat.[1]
English: Five copper mines in operation from 1905 to 1992 (88 years), located linearly near Musina, Limpopo Province, which feature abundant quartz mineralisation. The 5 shafts or mines are named Artonvilla, Spence, Messina, Harper and Western Campbell, all differing somewhat in local geology and mineralisation. All were sunk on or beside ancient workings which were located on ore bodies rich in the copper sulphide minerals chalcopyrite, bornite and chalcocite.Locality at mindat.org[2]
