CZ: Poručík Miroslav Medal (* 1. listopadu 1916 v Praze - † 17. dubna 1942 Věznice Plötzensee v Berlíně) byl po ustavení Protektorátu Čechy a Morava v rámci zrušení prvorepublikové československé armády (v létě roku 1939) deaktivován a přidělen do Prahy jako magistrátní úředník. Spolu s PhDr. Felixem Mannem (* 11. prosince 1905 - † 17. dubna 1942 v Berlíně-Plötzensee) zaměstnancem podniku Explosia Semtín u Pardubic a s pražským automechanikem Emilem Zöldnerem (* 24. prosince 1904 v Praze - † 17. dubna 1942 Věznice Plötzensee v Berlíně) zajišťoval převoz ilegálně vynášeného materiálu (výbušniny, dynamit, rozbušky) z továrny Explosia pro potřeby zpravodajsko-sabotážní skupiny Tři králové (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek). Medal byl zatčen gestapem v Praze dne 5. května 1940. Dne 7. listopadu 1941 byl Miroslav Medal odsouzen Lidovým soudním dvorem k trestu smrti za přípravu k velezradě, napomáhání nepříteli a za napomáhání k uchovávání skladu zbraní (v rámci procesu s odbojovou skupinou Karla Bondyho). Byl popraven stětím gilotinou dne 17. dubna 1942 v Berlíně-Plötzensee.

EN: Miroslav Medal was arrested by the Gestapo in Prague on 5 May 1940. On 7 November 1941, Miroslav Medal was sentenced to death by the People's Court for preparation for treason, aiding and abetting the enemy and for helping to keep a store of weapons (in the trial of Karel Bondy's resistance group). He was executed by beheading with the guillotine on 17 April 1942 in Berlin-Plötzensee.
