Mobilia
Ebony and silver were the favourite material of the Vasa mobilia. Prince Władysław had a bed of ebony inlaid with silver and Prince John Albert had a silver altar with six large candlesticks. King John Casimir was a great collector of all sorts of mechanisms, in particular, beautiful clocks. His private collection consisted of 38 clocks of fine work, often with compasses, globes and astrolabes, some had fittings of Polish silver.
