- Momijigari 紅葉狩 was created in 1887 by adapting a noh drama of the same name. It is based on the legend that Taira no Koremochi went autumn leaf viewing (momijigari in Japanese) and was invited to join the party of a noble woman and her maid. He drinks sake with them and the woman's maid and the woman dance for him. He gets drunk and falls asleep. When he awakens, he discovers that the woman is really an evil demon and he fights her off with his magic sword.
