Français : Sur la place communale de Seraing, la tombe de John Cockerill (1790-1840) est surplombée depuis 1871 par un monument commémoratif dédié à l'industriel d'origine anglaise. La statue de Cockerill par Armand Cattier (1830-1892) est flanquée à sa base de 4 statues en pied symbolisant les métiers liés à l'entreprise fondée à Seraing en 1817 : le forgeron Lognoul, le mécanicien Beaufort, le puddleur Lejeune et le houilleur Jacquemin. A l'arrière de la base, un relief et une inscription rappellent la mémoire de Hubert Brialmont, ingénieur en chef de la Société John Cockerill de 1842 à 1872.
