English: The Mosan style, also known as the Mosan Renaissance, is a regional architectural style dating from the 16th and 18th centuries. The style is only remotely related to Renaissance architecture. The term should not be confused with Mosan art, which applies to Romanesque art and architecture during the Middle Ages in the Meuse river region.
Français : Le style mosan est un style d'architecture régionale datant du XVIe au XVIIIe siècle. Le terme ne doit pas être confondu avec Art mosan, qui lui s'applique à l'art roman et à l'architecture romane pendant la Moyen Âge dans la région de la Meuse.
Nederlands: Maaslandse renaissance is een regionale architectuurstijl uit de 16e - 18e eeuw, die vooral is toegepast in Nederlands Zuid-Limburg, Belgisch Limburg, de Voerstreek, Aken en omgeving, de stad Luik en het Land van Herve. De meest voorkomende verschijningsvorm van de stijl heeft slechts zijdelings raakvlakken met de klassieke Renaissance elders. De term mag niet verward worden met Maaslandse kunst, een bouwstijl die betrekking heeft op de Romaanse periode in het Maasland.
