Nanyang is a residential precinct in Singapore which is the west portion of Yunnan, a sub-zone of Jurong. It is named after Nanyang University which was beside it when the first few estates at Jurong West Street 91 in the precinct were built in 1988. At that time, the Pan Island Expressway had not been constructed, and did not separate the University from the precinct.
