English: A historic site in the London Borough of Islington. Originally the London terminus of the New River, an artifical watercourse built in the 17th century to supply water to London. Became the site headquarters of the New River Company and its successors, the Metropolitan Water Board and Thames Water. The headquarters and laboratory buildings on the site have now been converted for residential use.
