Made in 1939 by Cartier, and presented to the Princess Elizabeth on the occasion of her marriage by the Nizam of Hyderabad, who asked her to choose what she liked from Cartier's stock. She chose a necklace and a tiara. The tiara had three diamonds roses which were detachable to be worn as brooches, which she still has. The rest of the tiara was dismantled in 1973, the diamonds being used to create the Burmese Ruby Tiara.
