English: Italy, Livorno, Scali Rosciano. Palazzo Rosciano was built in 1672 for Giuseppe Rosciano a merchant in cereals of ligurian origin who established his activity in Livorno. The palace is a four floors building: the ground floor was a storehouse, in the first and second floors lived the Rosciano family, in the third lived the servants and the fourth, not visible, was used as an observatory to watch the arrival and the departure of the ships. To day is the Port Authority headquarter.
