English: The Panasonic Theatre on Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built as a private residence in 1911, the building was converted to a cinema called The Victory in 1919. Known over the years as the Astor, the Showcase, the Festival and the New Yorker Theatre, the building was almost entirely demolished in 2004-2005 to allow for an expanded and modernized theatre.
