Polydeukes (a.k.a. Polydeukion, Polideuce, Polluce) was a pupil and lover of Greek millionaire rhetorician Herodes Atticus. When Polydeukes died, around 173-174 a.D., his lover started a real worship for him, building statues for him, in the guise of Hadrian with Antinous.
