English: Potomac Academy (also known as Potomac Seminary) was a private educational institution in Romney in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Built and opened in 1850, Potomac Academy remained in operation until its closure in 1916. The Potomac Academy building was purchased by the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and Blind in 1923 and it has been utilized as a classroom and cafeteria since. The second story of the Potomac Academy building was removed during the ownership of the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and Blind.
