English: VKH 44 is an AEC Regent V with a Park Royal body delivered in 1956 to East Yorkshire Motor Services and became their number 644. The bus was built with a sloping roof specifically for passing underneath the Beverley Bar, which was the only way buses could enter Beverley from the north until a bypass road was constructed in the mid-1970s.
