Built 1785 and dedicated to Queen Charlotte the consort of George III. Connected to Wapping Dock to the north and Coburg Dock to the south. Later extended until it comprised a main dock, two branch docks and a graving dock, the latter now being straddled by The Keel, an apartment block converted in 2015 from the 1993 Customs and Excise offices.
