English: Routemaster bus RML2336 (reg. CUV 336C) was delivered to London Transport in October 1965, in the dark green livery for use in the outlying 'Country Division' garages. It worked first from Godstone garage, on routes 409, 410 & 411. In January 1970 it passed to the newly created London Country Bus Services when the country area was passed from London Transport to the National Bus Company, who eventually repainted it into their lighter shade, corporate NBC, green. In October 1979 it was bought back by London Transport, painted red, and used on London service. As with all RML buses, in the early 1990s it was re-engined (Cummins) and refurbished. It saw continual use in London into the privatisation era, passing in 1994 into the fleet of London Central, who branded it for use on route 12. It was finally withdrawn from service in December 2003, and immediately sold to dealer Ensigbus. In August 2004 it was bought by Phoenix Enterprises of Worksop, and then passed to KJB Security of Leighton Buzzard in January 2007. Two months later it passed into preservation with the Lancastrian Transport Trust, who repainted it red in January 2008. Later in 2008 it was one of several Routemasters bought by Bellamy's Coaches of Nottingham for further public transport use, branded as the Nottingham & District Omnibus, but which only lasted a few months.
