English: MV Rabaul Queen was a Papua New Guinea-flagged passenger/ro-ro ferry. Built in Japan in 1983, the ferry plied a regular route between Kimbe on the island of New Britain, and Lae on the PNG mainland. On 2 February 2012, she sank some 9 nautical miles (16 kms) off Finschhafen, on her way from Kimbe to Lae. 12 crew and an estimated 350 passengers were aboard at the time.
