The 15th century Hazara Rama Temple at Hampi contains numerous panels relating to the Hindu epic Ramayana. Scenes presented show that three regional versions of the Ramayana were adopted by the artists. The outer walls of the temple also show Rama and Ramayana related celebrations, particularly scenes of the Ramanavami Navaratri (Dusshera, Dasara, Mahanavami) festival processions, performance arts and celebrations.
