English: Regatta Point, Tasmania - is located in the northern part of Macquarie Harbour, on the west coast of Tasmania - it is the terminus of the West Coast Wilderness Railway - formerly the railway of the Mount Lyell MIning and Railway Company - and it was the port of export for that company for close to 60 years - it is literally across a bay from Strahan, Tasmania - which is often confused with Regatta Point
