English: Rembrandt's father was a common title for paintings in the early 20th and 19th century, thought to be painted by Rembrandt and depicting his father. Today, it has been established that these paintings have been painted by several artists studying between 1600 and 1650 in Leiden. These paintings are now thought to be of an as yet unnamed Leiden model who posed for a drawing academy, much as the goldsmith Abraham Grapheus did in Antwerp.
