English: Ryther, a children's psychiatric institution in Seattle, has four buildings that were designed to be congregate residences for youth. Each person gets their own bedroom; other facilities are shared. For many years they were used for psychiatric foster care, a program that they terminated around 2020; as of early 2024, the buildings are being refitted to be used for daytime accommodation (and probably eventually again a 24-hour residence) for psychiatric patients transitioning out of Seattle Children's, a children's hospital.
