Richard Dimbleby (1913-1965) is a British journalist, correspondent and television presenter who is famous for the first BBC Election live coverage in 1955. He was the father of David Dimbleby (born 1938) and Jonathan Dimbleby (born 1945), the two sons who later continued his father's legacy as TV presenters until present.
