This bridge carries a footway, the continuation of Rocklands Avenue into Stanley Road, over the Wirral Line. It was built as an occupation bridge to preserve accesss to a large house known as Rocklands which stood on the site now occupied by the northern half of College Drive. It is not listed as a current Network Rail asset but there is a numbering gap in that database so it would have been designated CRR2/49 on the Hooton Junction to Rock Ferry branch (CRR2) of the Chester & Rock Ferry Line. It is 12.80 miles from the datum at Chester.
