English: The Rodin Studios, located at 200 West 57th Street at the corner of Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, was built from 1916-17 and was designed by Cass Gilbert in the French Gothic style. It was named after Auguste Rodin, and was one of a series of Manhattan buildings built in the early 20th century as both studio and residences for artists. The double-height studios were mostly on the 57th Street side, while the duplex residences, now subdivided, were at the back of the building. The building was restored in 2008 by Zaskorski & Notaro Archiects, and is now used for offices. (Sources: NYC Landmarks (4th ed.) and AIA Guide to NYC (5th ed.))
