Italiano: Ruggiero Giuseppe Boscovich, in croato Ruđer Bošković (Ragusa, 18 maggio 1711 – Milano, 13 febbraio 1787), è stato un astronomo, matematico, fisico, padre gesuita, filosofo, diplomatico e poeta dalmata, originario della Repubblica di Ragusa, che studiò, operò e visse in Italia, ad eccezione di un soggiorno in Francia di 10 anni.
English: Roger Joseph Boscovich (1711–1787), in Croatian Ruđer Josip Bošković, was a physicist, astronomer, mathematician, philosopher, diplomat, poet, theologian, Jesuit priest, and a polymath from the city of Dubrovnik in the Republic of Ragusa (modern-day Croatia), who studied and lived in Italy and France where he also published many of his works.
