فارسی: ابومحمد مُصلِح بن عَبدُالله مشهور به سعدی شیرازی و مشرف الدین (۶۰۶ – ۶۹۱ هجری قمری) شاعر و نویسندهٔ پارسی‌گوی ایرانی است. شهرت او بیشتر به خاطر نظم و نثر آهنگین، گیرا و قوی اوست. مقامش نزد اهل ادب تا بدان‌جاست که به وی لقب استاد سخن داده‌اند. آثار معروفش کتاب گلستان در نثر و بوستان در بحر متقارب و نیز غزلیات وی است.
