Large wagon carriage known as hunting break. Built in Paris between 1838 and 1857 by Ehrler, one of the most famous Parisian coachbuilders of the Second Empire, official supplier of the Emperor Napoleon III, as well as the King of Spain and the Khedive of Egypt. It is a sporty vehicle for training horses, long walks and hunting parties. Eight passengers can sit on four transverse seats. Under the seats are arranged two ventilated compartments to house small hunting dogs. He was hitched by four horses led in great guides by the owner.[edit]
