Deutsch: Schutthaufen, an dem vorher der Hofer Busbahnhof stand. Aufgrund verworfener Pläne, hier eine HofGalerie zu bauen, wurde zwar der Busbahnhof abgerissen, jedoch sprang der Investor für das neue Gebäude ab und es blieb der Schutthaufen übrig. Da dieser Misserfolg in die Amtszeit des ehemaligen Hofer Oberbürgermeisters Harald Fichtner fiel wird dieser Haufen auch scherzhaft "Mount Fichtner" genannt. Sollte jedoch der Misserfolg bei Eva Döhlas Amtszeit erhalten bleiben, ist schon der Begriff "Mount Evarest" in Umlauf. Ab 2022 ist geplant, eine Art medizinisches Zentrum zu errichten. Hierfür wird ab September/Oktober 2022 das Haufwerk umgeräumt und letztendlich entfernt. Der "Berg" wurde auch überregional bekannt, unter anderem durch die Berichterstattung im Bayerischen Rundfunk.
Der Schutthaufen bestand aus:
- Asbest (4,5 Tonnen)
- Bauholz (150 Tonnen)
- Bauschutt (1850 Tonnen)
- Müll (10 Tonnen)
- Mineralboden (8000 Tonnen)
- Sperrmüll (25 Tonnen)
- Haufwerke (1000 Tonnen)
- Glas (5 Tonnen)
English: Rubble pile where the Hof bus station used to stand. Due to rejected plans to build a HofGalerie here, the bus station was demolished, but the investor for the new building jumped off and the pile of rubble remained. Since this failure occurred during the term of office of the former mayor of Hof, Harald Fichtner, this pile is also jokingly called "Mount Fichtner". However, should the failure remain with Eva Döhlas term of office, the term "Mount Evarest" is already in circulation.
