English: Selmar Rush Seibert (1826-1909), American photographer, who worked for Gen. Richard Delafield, Chief Engineer, United States Army, during the Civil War, and for the photographic department of United States Treasury after the war. Not to be confused with German engraver Selmar Siebert, who immigrated to the U.S. in the 1840s and settled in Washington.
