Sicambrians were a tribe who fled from Troy. In the 6th century, Georgius Florentius Gregorius mentioned, that their old homeland is Pannonia. According to 7th century Gesta Regum Francorum sicambrians, coming from Troy, erected a town at the borders of Pannonia, calling the town Sicambria.
