The small 3×3 matrix below the big one is that of the inverse permutation.
The 3×8 matrix shows rows of a binary Walsh matrix. The row number corresponds to the interpretation of the respective row of the 3×3 matrix as a binary number. The Walsh permutation of 8 elements is determined in the same way from the columns of the 3×8 matrix.
Below the 8×8 permutation matrix the same arrows are shown in a cube. The cubes to their left show the result of applying the permutation (just like in the similar images of cube permutations).
