English: The autonomous social center of Siperia was created in October 2002 in an empty wooden house in Länsi-Herttoniemi, a southeastern neighborhood of Helsinki, Finland. Formerly known as Villa 71, the new name came from the cold temperatures at the beginning of the occupation.
The house was destroyed by fire in June 2006.
