The City Hall of Somerville, Massachusetts was built as the Somerville High School in 1852, and was also used as the Town Hall beginning in 1867. After Somerville built a new High School and reincorporated as a city in 1872, it was used solely as the City Hall. It received major additions in 1896 and 1924, and was listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
