The southeast side of the castle has a sea wall and inner defensive walls. To its west one can see the sea castle, generally named Kızkalesi (like the town on the coast fronting it). At west the end of the walls is a tower with under it what seems to be a water gate and next a jetty stretching into the direction of the sea castle. Some pictures show that jetty rather than the walls.
