Hamburg's Speicherstadt (meaning: "warehouse city") ist the world's largest warehouse complex. It's grounded on oak foundations, built in 1888 and since 1991 it is declared a historic monument. Since 2015 it is declared as World Cultural Heritage as part of site Speicherstadt and Kontorhaus District with Chilehaus.
