Strawberry Hill is a former cotton plantation near Forkland, Greene County, Alabama. It originally encompassed about 1000 acres of land. It was established by William Walton (b.1767-d.1844). Justina Louisa Grenerrick Walton, William's wife, inherited the plantation on his death. She died in 1868. According to the Walton Family Papers from 1804-68 the Walton family owned around 100 slaves.
