English: A landform section, The Esplanade, made of erosion-resistant, cliff-forming, Esplanade Sandstone-(uppermost member, Supai Group); it is on the south side, Colorado River, in the Grand Canyon, West section.
  • It is about 20 mi in length from Havasupai Canyon ENE, to Toroweap Overlook (Toroweap Point, Toroweap Fault, adjacent Lava Falls Rapids). (from Havasu, Mile 156.7 to Lava Falls Rapids, Mile 179.2; (see en:List of Colorado River rapids and features)).
  • Esplanade Sandstone and the Supai Group, are throughout the Grand Canyon -- North Rim, South Rim, East Rim, and West. The Supai Group can be found southeast to locales in central Arizona, and underlies east Arizona sections, to (west border) New Mexico. Certain Supai members are also found in states north, and northeastwards. (Utah, Colorado, etc.)
