English: Thomas Telford's Parliamentary Churches were a series of 32 churches and 41 manses built in remote areas of Scotland under the oversight of Thomas Telford. The majority of churches were built with a manse, but some were built without a manse, whilst additional manses were built where an existing church lacked a manse.
The churches are/were
- Acharacle (Acharacle Church Of Scotland Parish Church)
- Ardgour
- Berneray (converted to artist studio and featured on UK Channel 4 show 'The Restoration Man')
- Berriedale (out of ecclesiastical use)
- Carnoch (Strathconon Parish Church)
- Croick
- Cross (in use to 1905, since demolished)
- Duror
- Hallin (Waternish Parish Church, Hallin - in use as artists studio)
- Iona
- Keiss (Keiss Village Church of Scotland)
- Kinlochbervie
- Kinlochluichart
- Kinlochspelve (Kinlochspelvie Church of Scotland - in use as self-catering holiday accommodation)
- Knock (since demolished)
- Lochgilphead (demolished, replaced by new church on same site in 1885)
- North Ballachulish (demolished, replaced by new church on same site in 1900)
- Risabus or Oa (in use to 1930, now derelict)
- Plockton
- Poolewe
- Portnahaven
- Quarff
- Shieldaig (rebuilt using Telford's foundations)
- Steinscholl
- Stoer (in use to 1963, derelict since 1970, plans lodged to covert to holiday accommodation)
- Strathy (converted to house)
- Strontian (key features altered - only Telford Church to not be listed)
- Tobermory (demolished, replaced by new church on same site in 1895)
- Tomintoul (unrecognisable as Telford Church, key features altered in 1900)
- Timsgarry (Baile na Cille Church - disputed as Telford Church, built in T-shape with additional alterations for climate)
- Ullapool (in use to 1935, now museum)
- Ulva (privately owned, remains in occasional ecclesiastical use)
In addition, manses were built at Deerness, Orkney; Insh, Inverness-shire; Innerwick, Glen Lyon, Perthshire; Kilmeny, Isle of Islay, Argyll; Kirktown of Foss, Dull, Perthshire; Muckairn, Argyll; North Ronaldsay, Orkney; Rannoch, Perthshire; Rothemurchus, Inverness-shire; Salen, Isle of Mull; and Sandwick, Shetland.
