English: Three Districts Revolution is a revolution in three districts (Ili, Tacheng, Ashan/Altay) of Xinjiang Province during 1944 and 1949. From 1944 to 1946, the revolutionary established the Provisional Government of the Second East Turkestan Republic. In 1946, the Provisional Government was dismissed, and the revolutionary joined the Xinjiang Provincial Coalition Government, which was established by the revolutionary, the members of the other seven disctricts of Xinjiang, and the members of the central government of China. In 1947, the Coalition Government of Xinjiang Province collapsed, and the revolutionary kept the three districts self-govern. In 1949, the three districts became a part of the People's Republic of China.
中文：三区革命是1944年至1949年之间发生在中国新疆省的三个区（伊犁、塔城、阿山）的革命运动。分为三阶段：第一阶段为1944年至1946年，成立东突共和国临时政府。第二阶段为1946年至1947年，1946年三区方面同中华民国国民政府代表达成协议，国民政府、三区方面、新疆其他七区共同组成新疆省联合政府。三区方面1946年取消临时政府名义。第三阶段为1947年至1949年，1947年新疆省联合政府破裂，三区方面维持自治状态，1948年新疆保卫和平民主同盟成立，统一领导三区方面。1949年中华人民共和国成立，三区方面同进入新疆的中国人民解放军会师，三区革命结束。
