The Horseless Carriage Exhibition, held 15th October 1895 at the Agricultural Gardens, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, was the first motor vehicle show in the United Kingdom. It was organized by the mayor of Tunbridge Wells, electric engineer Sir David Salomons, who lent his own Peugeot Vis-à-vis, and Frederick Simms. Further entries included a Daimler-powered Panhard-Levassor owned by Sir Evelyn Ellis (1843–1913), and motor tricycles by Clément-Gladiator and De Dion-Bouton, the ladder was demonstrated by Georges Bouton. A De Dion-Bouton steam tractor attached to a landau carriage of the type that won the Paris-Rouen-Paris event in 1894 was announced, but did not appear.

The event became influential in the forming of the British motor industry.
