English: Walton Castle was a Roman shore fort located in what is now Felixstowe, Suffolk, England. A castle was built in one corner by the Normans c. 1100, but was dismantled by King Henry II in 1175-76. The fort was situated on a 30 m high cliff, but because of coastal erosion, the fort had disappeared into the sea by the late 18th century.
