The William Fox Developmental Center,134 W. Main St., Dwight began as the Leslie E. Keeley Company Institute, for the Treatment of Liquor and drug habits. The Fox Center is currently operated by the Illinois Department of Human Services as a State-operated developmental centers and residential program. Originally the Fox center was the The Leslie E. Keeley Co.'s Office and Laboratory (1891) and the building to the north (right) was the Livingston Hotel (1902) used to house the institutes clients.
