Čeština: Po smrti krále Přemysla Otakara II. na Moravském poli drželi krátce Hlubokou nad Vltavou Vítkovci – Záviš z Falknštejna se svým bratrem. Po popravě Záviše z Falknštejna dne 24. 8. 1290 se hrad opět dostal do držení královské komory. V roce 1895 nechal A. J. Schwarzenberg na předpokládaném místě popravy na louce pod hlubockým hradem na pravém břehu Vltavy postavit pomník.
English: After the death of King Přemysl Otakar II. Vítkovice, Zavis of Falkenstein and his brother held the castle in Hluboká nad Vltavou for a short time. After the execution of Zavis of Falkenstein on 24 August 1290, the castle returned to possession of the royal chamber. In 1895, A. J. Schwarzenberg had a monument built on the supposed place of the execution on the right bank of the River Vltava under the local castle.
