Why have similar contents in both article and category?[edit]

Category:Bronx Zoo and Bronx Zoo both contain a list of galleries. They apparently started identical but have been updated separately ever since. I am going to remove all explicit galleries, and merge them into the article itself. This will free up the category page, so people will see images tagged with this category on the category page.
