Clothing vs. costumes (category vs. subcategory)

Hi @Henni147!
Category:Clothing designed by Satomi Itō was created a while ago (its name was discussed here, then you added Category:Costumes designed by Satomi Itō was added. The latter was initially a subcategory of the former, but most costumes are still in "Clothing". Should we merge "Clothing" and "Costumes" or move all the pictures to the subcategory? I don't have any strong feelings about this and could live with either solution. I just don't think makes sense to keep the photos split up. What would be your preference? I don't mind merging the two categories. Most clothing by Ito that has been uploaded to Commons is figure skating costumes anyways. Henni147 (talk) 11:22, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
